A Grand Design
Initially developed as a performance lecture staged at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum for the National University's Festival of the Arts in 2020, A Grand Design was reconceptualised as an audio experience available in July 2020, produce by Checkpoint Theatre.
A Grand Design follows my experience as an undergraduate in the Environmental Studies programme at NUS into my early career as a wildlife educator for various institutions. It covers a range of topics from evolutionary biology, scatology and the social and political influences behind conservation efforts, call interwoven seamlessly into witty and funny anecdotes about my day-to-day interactions with everyday people coming into contact with animals, plants and nature in general- often for the first time.
